We are seeking an experienced Paving Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating paving machines and other heavy equipment used in asphalt and site preparation work. Responsibilities:
- Operate asphalt paving machines and related equipment in residential, commercial, and roadway projects.
- Assist in setup, maintenance, and adjustment of paving equipment for optimal performance.
- Operate additional machinery such as backhoe, grader, roller, and jackhammer as needed.
- Perform basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Work collaboratively with crew members to ensure smooth and timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a paving operator or in a related heavy equipment role.
- Proficiency in operating asphalt pavers and related machinery (backhoe, grader, roller, jackhammer).
- Strong understanding of paving techniques, grades, slopes, and asphalt mat quality.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
- Class A or B CDL preferred, but not required.
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
