Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Early Childhood Educator based in Newtonville, MA. The Early Childhood Educator will support the development of young children by designing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum that fosters learning, social development, and creativity. Responsibilities include creating a nurturing and safe classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues, communicating effectively with parents and caregivers, and actively participating in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Early Childhood Education, curriculum planning, and creating an inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning environment
- Ability to nurture social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children
- Proficient communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of Jewish traditions and culture, or willingness to learn, is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience); teaching certification is an advantage
- Strong organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to adapt to the needs of children and families
