Key Responsibilities

- Student Assessment: Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments; use data to inform instructional decisions and differentiate learning
- Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive, organized, and respectful classroom environment that supports academic and social-emotional growth
- Parent Communication: Maintain regular, professional communication with families regarding student progress, behavior, and academic needs
- Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues, specialists, and support staff to ensure student success and implement school initiatives
- Professional Development: Participate in professional learning opportunities and stay current with best practices in elementary education
- Inclusive Learning: Support the needs of diverse learners, including students with IEPs and English Language Learners, with appropriate accommodations and modifications

Required Qualifications
- Valid state teaching certification or licensure in elementary education (or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Current background check clearance (or willingness to complete)
