What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Grants Management Specialist position at Temple Health – Temple University Health System?
The Senior Grants Management Specialist is responsible for providing customer-focused support to investigators. Serve as the principal administrative resource and contact between investigators, external funding agencies and ICR, and acts as an information consultant for researchers in the ICR. Ensure institutional compliance with federal, state, agency and other applicable governing regulations, policies and procedures concerning sponsored and non-sponsored research. Manages and administers all aspects of grants and agreements for research- based community. The Sr. Grants Mgmt. Specialist helps faculty manage their budget and provides guidance on navigating a variety of administrative areas that are necessary to support lab operations. Overarching goal is to provide support to research faculty so that they focus on research.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Business, or Finance Required
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
