What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant, Full Time, Day Shift and Night Shift Available position at Temple Health – Temple University Health System?
Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Trade School : Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation (Required)
Experience
1 Year experience in a Nursing Assistant role (Preferred)
License/Certifications
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
