The Director, Perioperative Care is an integrated campus role responsible for directing and leading the perioperative services in collaboration with the department of surgery and from the perspective of a leader within the Nursing Department. Influences five primary domains of activity- leading, collaborating, integrating, facilitating and evaluating. Each domain contributes to the creation and maintenance of an environment that develops and supports a professional collaborative practice, shared decision-making and quality care. Provides leadership, supports the vision, the advancement of the mission and the values within perioperative services, the department of surgery, department of nursing and the FCCC organization.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
Experience
Master's Degree Nursing or Health Care Administration Preferred
5 years experience in a Management or Senior Leadership role within the healthcare sector Required
5 years experience in a clinical area of perioperative services Required
Licenses
PA Registered Nurse License Required
Nurse Exec Board Cert Preferred
Certified Nurse Operating Room Preferred
Cert Post Anesthesia Nurse Preferred
Multi State Compact RN License Required Or
Education
