What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer - Utility Locator position at Temple Grading and Construction Company, Inc.?
Well established utility company seeking qualified laborers for work with a pipe crew. If your last four jobs are working at fast food restaurants, please pass us by, we need candidates that are able to start and immediately be productive members of a high performing team. We are seeking individuals that can work locating existing utilities using vacuum excavators. It's backbreaking dirty work. Knowledge of reading a tape measure, using saws, shovels and other hand tools mandatory. Candidate may also be involved in any facet of installing water, sewer or storm drain based on actual daily activities. Knowledge of pipe work a plus. Must be able to lift 80 pounds repeatedly. Dependable candidate with valid drivers license and personal transportation to get them to the jobsite daily at shift start REQUIRED. Must speak English (even if it's a second language) and be able to pass a EVerify screening. We are an equal opportunity employer. Salary based on assessment at time of interview.
