Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic educational environment. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children’s social-emotional well-being.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and specialists to support children with special education needs and early intervention programs.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions, effective classroom management, and adherence to childcare standards.
- Incorporate early childhood education best practices to foster curiosity, independence, and a love for learning among young children.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, preschool experience, and innovative teaching techniques such as Montessori or other educational philosophies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Montessori certification is a plus.
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings with classroom experience in early childhood education.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development stages and behavior management strategies.
- Experience with children who have special education needs or require early intervention support.
- Skilled in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and child welfare standards.
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering an inclusive environment for diverse learners.
- Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children in various educational settings such as daycare or private schools is highly desirable.
