TempExperts is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager in Anderson, IN. This Direct Hire position is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in warehouse operations, team supervision, and process optimization, looking to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of 6–8 warehouse associates, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Prepare and manage employee work schedules to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive performance and efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and ensure adherence to OSHA and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software for tracking and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are consistently met.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support business and customer needs.
Requirements/Education:
- 10–15 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Forklift certification required.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with WMS, Excel, and inventory systems.
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a small team.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with overtime required during seasonal high production periods.
