SKILLS / TRAITS
Ideal Project Management candidates should possess the following skills to successfully lead and complete projects:
- Able to manage tightly coordinated project timelines, employee schedules, and delivery dates
- 3 years of experience successfully integrating various sized AV projects
- Understands the installation of structured cabling, terminations, and inter-rack wiring
- Understands signal flow and equipment functions
- Familiar with systems closeout and commissioning
- Has strong oral and written communication skills
- Provides a great customer experience
- Experience reading architectural drawings and system diagrams
- Well organized, detail oriented, problem solver
- Competent with Windows-based software such as MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project
- Not afraid to ask for help and leverage an amazing network of teammates
- CTS, CTS-I, or similar AV industry recognized certification a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties cover all aspects of planning and managing projects from award to completion. Project Manager tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Planning of all project phases
- Setting expectations with customers and other trades
- Coordination of rack building, and on-site installation phases
- Field verification of site readiness
- Generating change orders as needed
- Routine visits to project sites to ensure quality and timeliness of installations
- Customer training
- Project closeout
- Maintaining project files
- Tracking and managing labor hours and budgets
- Manage permits and inspections
- Ensure job-site safety and tidiness
The Project Manager role will be a liaison between Technical Services, the Sales staff and our Clients. This position requires occasional travel to remote job sites.
