Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
- Assist in food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, and baked goods, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage cash handling duties with integrity, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, kitchen stations, and food prep zones in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and food preparation techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
