Dishwasher

Tempest Charleston is looking for a dishwasher to join our dynamic team.

Location: Charleston, SC

Job Type: Part-Time

Compensation: $17 an hour

Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring the proper cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, flatware, glassware, pot and pans, utensils, and tableware. Our ideal candidate operates with speed and attention to detail. Dishwashers should have excellent organizational skills and take pride in keeping their station clean and safe.

Responsibilities include:

· Rinse and run all dishes/tableware through dish machine

· Dry and organize clean dishes and tableware

· Clean, sanitize and maintain dish machine

· Ensure machine always is loaded with proper levels of cleaning solution

· Empty trash frequently

· Sweep and mop frequently or as needed

· Perform additional cleaning tasks as requested

· Scrub pots and pans too large for machine in triple sink

· Test solution levels in machine and triple sink multiple times per shift

· Follow proper cleanliness and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Physically able to stand and work 8-hour shifts

· Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

· Open availability including holidays

· Working knowledge of sanitation procedures

· Reliable transportation

· Ability to read and write in English
