Essential Job Functions:
- Manages human and material resources to meet production goals.
- Lead FA’s for repetitive issues.
- Responsible for productivity expectations.
- Prepares and maintains production reports.
- Monitors headcounts for optimal production output.
- Manages the safety and cleanliness of the production area.
- Delegates cleaning responsibilities to hourly temporary workers.
- Ensure all workers within the area of responsibility wear PPE.
- Coaches’ unsafe behaviors of production workers.
- Responsible for the quality of manufactured products.
- Monitors production lines to ensure products are produced to customer specifications.
- Coaches’ production workers on food safe production and adherence to GMP’s.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Basic understanding of manufacturing terminology and tools.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations: production, shipping, receiving, inventory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to be trained in powered equipment
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred and considered an asset to support a diverse workface.
- 3 years supervisory experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience with inventory ERP systems preferred.
- High School or GED.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Be on your feet for 10-12 hours a day
- Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
- Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts
