- $20.06 per hour starting salary with no experience.
- Paid training is provided to obtain CDL and all certifications.
- Additional compensation may be awarded for experienced CDL drivers.

BUS DRIVER
Classified Non-Exempt Position
Department: District Office Transportation
Reports to: Transportation Supervisor; Director of Transportation
Position Summary: Transports high school students and staff to and from school and to various athletic and activity events in a secure and safe manner. Builds positive and professional rapport with students, parents and school staff. Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Cleans & Sanitizes bus.
Training and Experience:
- High School Diploma.
- Skilled driver with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with children
- Previous experience in a similar position.
Licensing/Certification Requirements:
- Arizona Driver’s License
- CDL Class B License with S&P Endorsements
- CPR Certification
- DPS School Bus Driver Certification
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Hourly Position
Salary Range: $20.06 - $26.58 (Grade 10) -
Salary Placement: Appropriate placement on the Classified Salary Schedule based on experience
