Service Installer
Commercial HVAC & Plumbing Service
Reports To: Service Manager
Location: Corporate Office: 303 W Elliot Rd Ste. 101, Tempe, AZ - travel to job sites across the Greater Phoenix Area
Compensation: $18.00 – $35.00 per hour (determined in interview based on skills and experience)
POSITION SUMMARY
Tempe Mechanical is one of Arizona's premier commercial HVAC and plumbing contractors, with over 35 years in business. We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Service Installer who values efficiency, reliability, and family. The Service Installer assesses blueprints, codes, and manuals to install a variety of HVAC equipment, and is an effective problem solver and communicator with the technical skills to install, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation
- Install heating, air conditioning, control systems, and indoor air quality equipment.
- Assess blueprints, codes, and manuals to install a variety of HVAC equipment, including refrigerant systems.
- Install, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment as needed.
Piping & Wiring
- Solder and braze pipe.
- Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks.
- Perform low voltage wiring.
Safety, Compliance & Administration
- Comply with all applicable standards, codes, policies, and safety procedures.
- Enter completed projects and the parts used into the database.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Installer.
- Positive attitude.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test for municipality work.
