What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead position at Temp Associates?
Overview
individual will be responsible for working directly with Supervisor and Management. Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and directing production areas. Team Lead will be responsible to training members on production processes and procedures.
JOB DUTIES: Specific job duties will include but not limited to:
- Leading and directing production members
- Moving and maneuvering carts and coils of steel by hand or forklift.
- Performing quality checks on steel for proper length using various gages and calibers
- Performing visual inspection of completed parts for quality and production defects
- Must be able to complete accurate daily production paperwork as required for production.
- Able to perform basic computer skills
- Ability to operate production equipment and have knowledge of production procedures and processes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
_ 1. Education:_
- Must be able to read and perform basic math functions.
- High School Diploma, GED or technical training.
_ 2. Experience:_
- Experienced Leadership skills. Experience operating a fork truck, roll formers, punch press, brake press, drill press, hydraulic press and powder coat paint knowledge.
3. Skills and abilities:
- Job requires a motivated, self starter with initiative and a positive attitude. Individual must be dependable and have mechanical abilities to produce quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing operation. Job requires an individual who is conscientious about safety and quality.
4. Physical demands:
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Job requires standing on concrete for 8 hours a day. Using arms, hands and legs for long periods of time performing repetitive work.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
5. Working conditions:
- Production area requires use of personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and arm guards. Production area is heated in the winter and ambient temperature is dependent on weather.
Hours
- 2nd Shift
- 4 x10’s (Mon-Thurs): 2:00 pm – 12:30 am
- Possible overtime hours with rotating Friday and Saturday calendar.

- Based on experience
