Duties
- Install, repair, and troubleshoot plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment to meet project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
- Perform welding tasks when necessary to secure pipe connections or repair damaged sections, ensuring safety and durability.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to site safety protocols.
- Utilize construction knowledge to assist with remodeling projects, including carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations.
- Operate construction site machinery and vehicles for material transport or site access as required for the job.
- Collaborate with team members on schematic reading, HVAC integration, and mechanical system setups to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields such as HVAC or remodeling projects.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe installation techniques, and schematics interpretation.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and extended periods on-site.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access and material transportation.
