As a Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher in TVUSD, you will deliver Specialized Academic Instruction and support to students with mild to moderate learning disabilities. Your role involves developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapting curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs, and collaborating with other educators and support staff to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. Available positions include both Resource Specialist (RSP) and Special Day Class (SDC) assignments.
Designated Case Management Time and Stipends: TK-5th Grade SDC teachers are eligible to use up to five (5) case management release days per year (or $750.00 cash lieu) AND $750.00 annual stipend. Non-SDC RSP teachers are eligible to receive at least 180 minutes of case management time per week
