About This Role
Temecula Montessori Academy is looking for a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to join our team. We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with babies, is patient and attentive, and wants to be part of a friendly and supportive school community.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and loving care for infants throughout the day
- Change diapers and assist with basic hygiene needs
- Prepare and feed bottles, meals, and snacks according to each child’s schedule
- Put infants down for naps and monitor them during sleep
- Hold, comfort, and soothe infants as needed
- Supervise infants closely and ensure their safety at all times
- Engage infants in age-appropriate activities, tummy time, reading, music, and play
- Clean and sanitize bottles, toys, cribs, changing areas, and classroom materials
- Record daily feedings, diaper changes, naps, and activities
- Communicate with parents about their child’s daily care and needs
- Work with co-teachers to keep the classroom clean, organized, and running smoothly

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- at least 6 ECE units and currently enrolled
- Livescan fingerprint clearance
- Criminal record & TB clearance
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Must be warm, nurturing, and sensitive to the feelings of the children as well as others
- Able to relate well with children/parents and all staff members
- Having infant and toddler units is preferred. Administrative training will be provided.
