Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
- Observe and assess child development, adapting instruction to meet individual needs
- Foster independence, respect, and a love of learning in each child
- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff
- Collaborate with fellow educators to support a cohesive school community
- Maintain classroom materials and documentation per Montessori standards

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- 12 ECE units or 6 ECE units and currently enrolled
- Livescan fingerprint clearance
- Criminal record & TB clearance
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Must be warm, nurturing, and sensitive to the feelings of the children as well as others
- Able to relate well with children/parents and all staff members
- Having infant and toddler units is preferred. Administrative training will be provided.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
