What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist position at Temecula Dietitians?
Temecula Dietitians is a Dietitian-owned private practice of non-diet, weight-inclusive dietitians. We are currently looking to hire an eating disorder and/or GI dietitian to join our small team!
This new employee will be joining a small, close-knit team that genuinely cares about one another. We value open communication, mutual support, and making sure every team member feels heard. We use the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size when treating our clients. It's our mission to help our clients improve their physical and mental health by using a health behaviors approach to medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling. Temecula Dietitians is a primarily insurance-based practice that values making excellent dietetic services accessible to the community. We serve clients with a wide range of medical nutrition needs while providing care through a weight-inclusive approach.
Employee will be hired as a W-2 employee, but will have the freedom to create their own schedule and will not be required to place time off requests. Employees can take time off whenever they'd like.
You must live in California and be able to commute to our office 1-2 days per week to qualify for this position. Please DO NOT apply if you do not live driving distance to Temecula, CA.
Seeing clients in office in Murrieta, CA 92563 on Mondays, Thursdays and/or Fridays from 9am-5pm is required for this position. All other sessions can be conducted via telehealth from home. Minimum 24 hours availability per week is required or there is the option to work full-time(30 hours per week) if you'd like. Full-time employees working 30 hours per week will qualify for health insurance and dental insurance. All employees qualify for 401K match after 90 days of beginning to see clients. Full-time employees will be required to work in the office 2 days per week; part-time employees (24 hours per week) will be required to work 1 day per week in the office.
Dietitian will get to choose their own hours!
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian treating eating disorders is required. GI experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial nutritional assessments for new clients
- Schedule follow up sessions with clients and process cash payments
- Conduct individual follow up nutritional counseling sessions with clients
- Coordinate care with clients’ doctors and/or therapists and/or families (if applicable)
- Attend staff meetings and collaborate with staff about client care (Optional - may be monthly depending on case load and needs)
- Create client meal plans when appropriate and monitor nutritional intake
- Complete charting on clients weekly. The company pays for every employee to have AI charting which makes charting very quick and easy.

Job Types: Full-time(All benefits included when working 30 hours per week on average), Part-time (Part-time employees working less than 30 hours per week will not be able to access Health Insurance benefits.)
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
