Operations Coordinator
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our delivery and customer service teams. This role ensures smooth daily operations, accurate scheduling, and high service standards. If you're organized, a great communicator, and thrive in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Monitor daily delivery operations and resolve service exceptions
- Support drivers and customer service reps with real-time troubleshooting
- Train and onboard new team members
- Build and manage office and driver schedules
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Prepare delivery manifests and ensure dispatch readiness
- Collaborate with routing and driver managers to optimize performance
- Review payroll and address discrepancies
- Process reschedules, cancellations, and customer exceptions
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics in 3PL locations
- Track recycling and waste levels and recommend improvements
Daily & Weekly Tasks
- Track delivery exceptions and ensure timely resolution
- Monitor compliance (check-ins, paperwork, routing)
- Review next-day delivery plans and revisit schedules
- Submit nightly operations recap
- Attend weekly planning meetings
- Conduct inventory checks and order supplies
Success Metrics
- On-time and complete deliveries
- Driver satisfaction scores
- Employee retention and safety compliance
- Labor hours and productivity vs. goals
- Fleet damage and repair costs
