Trades Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trades Manager to oversee our skilled trades employees across the Southern US. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft office systems, ability to determine code requirements and compliance, understand mechanic and plumbing systems, along with excellent supervisory skills. The Trades Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all trade activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with company and state laws/policies.

Duties

• Manage daily trades operations and ensure adherence to established protocols.
• Supervise and train team members on best practices in trades and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all trades activities.
• Serve as a point of contact between operational management and tradespeople.
• Ensure third party vendors are following company procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of trades activities, equipment status, and team performance.
• Manage service quality through in-field site inspections
• Assist in hiring and training new staff

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a trades environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in plumbing systems
• Self starter with the ability to stay focused while working remotely
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
• Experienced in Microsoft office systems
• Experienced traveler with the ability to travel 30 /- percent of the time
