Temco Logistics has been a trusted provider of final-mile delivery services for leading retailers since 1968. We are proud to partner with The Home Depot to deliver and install appliances for customers with excellence and care.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee operations at our Salem, OR location. This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, team leadership, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the location’s operations, including delivery and installation services.
- Drive performance metrics, safety standards, and compliance with company policies.
- Build and maintain a high-performing team through coaching, training, and development.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership and retail partners to ensure service excellence.
- Manage budgets, optimize resources, and implement process improvements.
Fleet Requirements:
- Proven experience in driver and fleet management
- Ability to manage multiple drivers/routes across various locations
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards
Software & Tools:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Experience with route planning and dispatch systems preferred
Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of experience in Operations, Logistics, or Transportation Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated success in team development and service-oriented leadership
