Customer Service Representative/ Dispatch

TEMCO LOGISTICS is hiring Dispatchers to perform an array of functions. We are looking for a detail-oriented truck dispatcher to dispatch our drivers to customer locations. In this role, your duties will include communicating with our customers to record their requirements, planning and adjusting routes, as well as scheduling drivers to deliver or collect freight, shipments, and packages.

We currently perform over 6,000 residential, business, job site, and commercial deliveries per day, operating 7 days a week. Pay: $17-$20

Responsibilities

• Collecting information from drivers and driver manifests
• Entering data into the central database system is accurate
• Cataloguing the data with appropriate tags for ease of reference
• Ensuring all data from routes are appropriately tagged and marked in the database
• Transferring physical records into a digital filing system
• Retrieving data as requested
• Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary
• Generating periodic reports
• Indexing and filing invoices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• 2 years of data entry experience or related office experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately
• Comfortable with office equipment including a computer, telephone, scanner, calculator, and photocopier
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to think analytically
