ABOUT THE ROLE:
Client Services Coordinator
Our CPA firm provides excellent client service to our small and medium sized owner managed business clients.
We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Client Services Coordinator to join our accounting firm to ensure the workflow moves through the firm while being the main point of contact for the client. The right candidate is process driven with high attention to detail and has experience working in a professional office environment, with experience in an accounting office most desirable.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with our professional staff to ensure our clients are receiving the highest quality of service.
- Establishes client and firm coordination and relationships to ensure receipt of required information, sign offs, payment etc. for work to proceed efficiently and on time.
- Enables the accounting team to be accountants by owning and continually improving client coordination services which deliver the best experience possible to clients
- Appointment management (meetings and calls) with clients, prospects and others
- Anticipates, monitors and meets the needs of customers and responds to them in an appropriate manner
- Drive the implementation and management of the computerized workflow management system
- Monitors workflow and report issues. Maintain associated systems in compliance with procedures and processes
- Sets standards and goals for customer service and firm needs and implements change for improvement.
- This position will be involved with all aspects of the firm’s operations
- Assist in ongoing improvements to our policies and procedures.
- Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by management with documented procedures and as directed by supervising Accountant.
The right candidate will possess a high level of computer skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and is skilled at working with and managing people with the following requirements,
- Minimum 5 year experience in a professional office environment, BA preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and able to complete work accurately,
- General knowledge of financial terms and principles, Financial Services background a plus,
- Organized with strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks,
- Passion for working with people and proven experience in a client-facing role,
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents and situations critically and efficiently,
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Easily adaptable to multiple software programs.
- Proven computer and typing skills are required, i.e. data & workflow management knowledge
- Experienced with scanning and paperless environments a plus
- Displays each of the following attributes - excellent work ethic / can do attitude / punctual / initiative / outgoing personality / pro-active / attention to detail / organized / self-motivated
