Position Overview
The PRP Counselor provides psychiatric rehabilitation services to clients with mental health diagnoses. Services focus on skill-building, community integration, treatment planning, and promoting independence and stability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- 1 year experience in behavioral health (preferred)
- Knowledge of PRP documentation requirements
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation Ability to work independently in community settings
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRPs)
- Provide community-based skill-building sessions
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation
- Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and case managers
- Assist clients with employment, education, and daily living skills Attend supervision and team meetings
