What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onsite Project Contributor (Data Collection) position at TELUS Digital?
TELUS Digital is recruiting participants for a paid research study in Los Angeles and San Jose. During this onsite session, you'll be photographed and video-recorded while performing everyday movements and poses. This research helps advance motion capture and body imaging technology.
What You'll Do
- Perform basic movements: walking, sitting, standing, and various gestures/facial expressions
- Interact with props and furniture as directed
- Allow photography and video recording under different lighting conditions
- Participate in head, face, and hand measurements (still and moving poses)
- Have an ear impression made by a specialist
- Complete physical activities including climbing stairs and walking
- Wear form-fitting compression clothing provided onsite
- Allow body composition measurements
Sessions last 2.5–5 hours (including short breaks) depending on study needs and your eligibility.
Requirements
- Age 18–75
- US citizen, legal permanent resident, or authorized to work in the USA (proof required)
- Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and understanding)
- Able to stand and perform physical activities independently
- Bring two different outfits:
- One gym/exercise outfit (with sneakers, ballet, yoga, or football shoes)
- One formal or casual outfit (different from gym clothing)
No experience or special skills needed! Study moderators will guide you through all tasks.

Payments are processed through Hyperwallet with flexible withdrawal options: PayPal, bank transfer, or Venmo.
Pay: $250.00 - $375.00 per day
