Position Overview:
The People & Culture (P&C) Manager will serve as the lead human resources partner supporting TELUS Digital’s North American operations. Reporting to the P&C Director - North America, this role is responsible for executing human resources strategies and initiatives that align with broader organizational objectives across the U.S. and Canada while ensuring the unique needs of the U.S. business are effectively supported.
As a key member of the P&C leadership structure within TELUS Digital, the P&C Manager will partner closely with Operations leadership to drive organizational performance, employee engagement, compliance, and operational excellence. This position will oversee a team of P&C Business Partners and provide leadership, coaching, and direction to ensure consistent delivery of P&C programs, policies, and employee support services.
The successful candidate will bring a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with demonstrated experience leading P&C initiatives in fast-paced, high-volume environments. This role will play a key part in supporting organizational growth, strengthening employee relations, enhancing retention efforts, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

Specific Responsibilities May Include:
- Works closely with the P&C Director - North America and Operations leadership to execute human resources strategies that support TELUS Digital’s North American operations
- Leads and develops a team of P&C Business Partners, ensuring effective P&C partnership, employee support, and operational excellence across assigned client groups
- Oversees core P&C functions including employee relations, workers’ compensation, leave management, and HR compliance, while collaborating closely with Payroll and Benefits teams to support accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and effective communication of employee programs and policies.,
- Partners with Operations leadership to support organizational change, succession planning, talent development, and initiatives that drive engagement, retention, and performance
- Advises leaders on employee relations matters, performance management, organizational effectiveness, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation
- Utilizes HR metrics, trends, and employee feedback to provide recommendations that support business objectives and improve engagement and retention
- Maintains and updates HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure alignment with company practices and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Drives consistency, accountability, and high levels of performance across HR programs and practices
Required Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered
- 6–10 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, including employee relations, and HR operations
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience managing HR professionals or HR Business Partner teams
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Ability to partner with business leaders and support organizational change in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of supporting strong team member engagement and retention initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable business recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational execution
- Ability to drive high levels of performance, accountability, and engagement across HR and Operations teams
- Ability to act as a trusted HR partner to the business while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- PHR/SPHR certification
- Experience and/or knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
- Experience and/or knowledge of a Contact/Call Center work environment
- Workday or other HRMS software experience

Salary Range: $92,000 - $115,000/year
