Content Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking dynamic individuals with strong communication skills who use the internet on a daily basis. This is a freelance, part-time opportunity that offers the flexibility and freedom to work from home and set your own schedule. The role requires a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 25 hours per week.

What Does the Work Involve?

In this role, you will review online advertisements to help improve their content, quality, and layout. You will be responsible for providing feedback and analysis on advertisements displayed in search engine results, as well as rating their relevance to specific search terms.

Another key aspect of this role involves evaluating the language used in advertisements, including grammar, tone, clarity, and cultural relevance for U.S. audiences.

As a Content Reviewer, your ultimate goal is to contribute to making internet search results and online advertising more relevant, accurate, and engaging for English speakers in the United States.

Recruitment Process

Working on this project requires completion of a standard recruitment process, including passing an open-book assessment. This is a part-time freelance project, and all work will be subject to ongoing quality assurance checks throughout the term of the agreement.

Ideal Profile

Main Requirements

• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English
• Residency in the United States for the past three consecutive years
• Ownership and regular use of a smartphone (Android version 5.0 or higher, or iPhone running iOS 14.0 or higher)
• Ability to use both a desktop/laptop and a smartphone, as most task types require both
• Gmail must be your primary email account
• Strong familiarity with current and historical U.S. business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural trends
• Experience using web browsers and smartphone applications to navigate and interact with various types of online content
• Understanding of social media environments and dynamics, including memes, virality, and emerging trends
• Access to a reliable broadband internet connection, as well as a personal computer and required software (provided at your own expense)
• Successful applicants will complete a standard recruitment process, including an open-book assessment
• The role includes periodic quality assurance reviews and offers potential for long-term engagement
