No experience required. Our Field Service team provide on the ground support to homes and business around the country. As a Trainee Field Technician, you will be a friendly face our communities become to recognise as the hero keeping us all connected. About The Role As a Telecommunications Trainee, you will work alongside a mentor offering you on going coaching, support and mentoring during your traineeship. You will get hands on training providing our customers with a great experience by activating and assuring telecommunications / technology products and services, in homes and/or business. You will actively participate in a diverse team environment to deliver the optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned to Telstra's values and strategy. This is a Fixed-term role for 12 months with opportunity for permanency after completion. What You Bring Hold a current driver's licence. Physically fit for the role. The ability to undergo pre-employment medical and drug alcohol screening. Ability to undertake a police check. Professional and polite communication. Enjoy working in a team environment. Positive attitude and safety-first approach. Be technically minded. Qualifications As a Trainee Technician you will be provided with Telecommunication Technology Cert III training during the traineeship along with relevant certifications and/or licencing for the location you reside in. No qualifications need. Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment undertaken by RTO. Telstra can support you through obtaining a Working With Children Check and White Card.
