Amazon Returns / Package Processing Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Amazon Returns / Package Processing Assistant to join our warehouse team. This role involves efficiently handling returned items and processing packages to ensure smooth operations within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse equipment are preferred to ensure accuracy and safety in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a reliable person to handle Amazon returns. This role involves receiving returned items, checking their condition, and following instructions for restocking, repackaging, or shipping items back.

Responsibilities:

· Receive and open returned Amazon packages

· Inspect items for condition and completeness

· Repackage items neatly when required

· Label and prepare items for return or resale

· Keep records of returned items

Requirements:

· Organized and detail-oriented

· Reliable and punctual

· Able to follow simple written instructions

· Computer skills

· Ability to lift light to moderate packages (about 30 lbs.)

• Strong organizational skills for managing inventory records and filing systems
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and shipping & receiving procedures
• Proficiency with RF scanners for inventory tracking
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of returns and shipments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
