Position Title:
Psychotherapist (LCMHC, LMFT, Psychologist – PsyD/Ph.D.)
Employment Type:
W-2 | Fee-for-Service | Pay Per Encounter
Schedule:
- Part-Time: 2 days per week nonconsecutive days (daytime hours; you pick the days!)
- Full-Time: Monday–Friday (daytime hours, typically a building a day would involve driving to additional locations.
Full-time status is eligible for full benefits (listed below).
Job Summary:
Telos Health Systems is seeking a Psychotherapist (LCMHC, LMFT, Psychologist – PsyD/Ph.D.) to provide mental health evaluations and psychotherapy services in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Provide individual psychotherapy and ongoing treatment services
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with facility staff, medical providers, and healthcare professionals
- Adhere to all federal, state, and organizational standards, policies, and regulations
Qualifications:
Required Licensure:
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Psychologist (PsyD/Ph.D.)
Additional Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field
- Active, unrestricted license in the state of practice
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a clinical team
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with geriatric populations
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, or long-term care settings
