Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, to determine client needs and treatment pathways
- Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions (in-person in Crystal Lake and via SimplePractice Telehealth).
- Provide individual, group, child & youth therapy, family counseling, and trauma-focused therapy utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines, including progress notes, medical documentation, and ICD coding for accurate record keeping.
- Build and maintain a target caseload averaging 25 completed client sessions per week.
- Complete clinical progress notes, treatment plans, and diagnostic coding in EHR within 48 hours of session completion.
- Engage actively in 1 hour per week of required clinical supervision.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)license in the State of Illinois (issued by IDFPR).
- Master’s degree in Counseling or closely related mental health field.
- Strong clinical foundation, empathy, and commitment to documentation compliance.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
