Position Overview
Telos Advisers is seeking an Analyst to join our growing team in the Seattle/Pacific Northwest region. This role is designed for a professional with demonstrated experience in infrastructure, transportation, public policy, or financial advisory work who can independently manage analytical workstreams and contribute meaningfully to client engagements. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting complex transportation and infrastructure projects through advanced research, financial and policy analysis, strategic problem-solving, and development of client recommendations. This position will be located in the greater Seattle region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analytical workstreams related to infrastructure and transit projects, including data collection, evaluation, and interpretation.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on infrastructure policy, transportation trends, public procurement, and project finance.
- Develop and refine analytical models used for forecasting, financial analysis, capital planning, and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and review client-facing deliverables, including reports, presentations, memoranda, and briefing materials.
- Support project management activities, including coordinating project tasks, tracking deliverables, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate project alternatives, identify risks and opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations for clients.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to maintaining high standards of analytical rigor, quality, and professionalism across project teams.
- Support firm business development including proposal development, resource management, and opportunity research
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field required. Advanced degrees such as an MBA, JD, or relevant technical master’s degree are viewed favorably, particularly where they demonstrate strong analytical, financial, regulatory, or infrastructure-related expertise.
- Three to six years of relevant professional experience in consulting, infrastructure advisory, transportation, finance, or public-sector analysis.
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large or complex datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical information to a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated understanding of transportation, infrastructure finance, capital planning, or public-sector advisory services.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional judgment.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
- Opportunity to participate in discretionary year-end incentive compensation
- 15 days of paid time off (vacation and sick leave combined) in addition to 9 paid company holidays
