We are looking for a Lead Warehouse Associate with forklift experience and attention to detail to oversee daily warehouse operations. As a warehouse Lead, you will operate a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in inventory management, and the ability to ensure the efficient and safe handling of materials in the warehouse. You must be a responsible individual with extensive experience driving industrial vehicles.
Essential Functions
The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is NOT an exhaustive list of all expectations.
- Receiving, picking, staging, shipping, and return processing as applicable to the assigned position.
- Supervise and direct warehouse floor personnel under the guidance of the Unit Manager
- Forklift maintenance and operation.
- Filing, posting, and preparation of documents and forms.
- Data entry into material/inventory management system.
- Other clerical duties as required.
- Maintaining a safe work environment.
- Responsible for the proper filing of all material-related documents within the MSL filing system.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prefer 2-4 years of experience
- Must be able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding
- Consistently lift, standing, bending, and rotating motions
- Must be able to read and write English
- Basic Mathematics Skills
- Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government and company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.
Physical Demands
