Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiter to support high-volume hiring of temporary employees while managing a seamless onboarding process. This role is critical in ensuring we attract, hire, and onboard qualified candidates efficiently to meet operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage full cycle recruiting for temporary and hourly roles
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and timelines
- Post job openings, source candidates, and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Onboarding & Compliance
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding for new hires (orientation, paperwork, system setup)
- Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed (background checks, I-9s, etc.)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems (e.g., ADP, Smartsheet)
- Communicate onboarding details clearly with new hires and internal teams
Process & Operations
- Track hiring metrics and provide regular updates on recruiting progress
- Support high-volume hiring initiatives and hiring events as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting and onboarding efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred
- 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume or temp staffing environments
- Experience with onboarding processes and HRIS systems (ADP experience a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience hiring for hourly or warehouse/manufacturing roles
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and workforce management tools
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
