Description
Provide evidence-based behavioral and psychological services as an integral member of an interdisciplinary chronic pain, brain injury rehabilitation, and behavioral medicine team. This role delivers comprehensive assessments, diagnostic formulations, individual and group psychotherapies, and treatment planning to support functional restoration and improved patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial, behavioral health, and psychological assessments.
- Perform diagnostic interviews and apply DSM-based diagnostic formulations.
- Administer, score, interpret, and document standardized psychological or neuropsychological assessments (for licensed psychologists).
- Provide evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate therapeutic or psychoeducational groups.
- Deliver behavioral and psychosocial interventions to improve patient outcomes.
- Manage scheduling for patients within an established caseload.
- Support a minimum of 24 clinical contact hours per week.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and care coordination meetings.
- Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, therapists, and support staff.
- Coordinate services with internal and external providers.
- Provide patient education and feedback regarding assessment findings and treatment recommendations.
- Contribute to staff education, in-service trainings, or clinical consultation.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
