About the Role:

As a Tire Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring vehicle safety and performance by expertly installing, repairing, and maintaining tires on a wide range of vehicles. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and safety by providing reliable tire services that meet industry standards. You will be responsible for diagnosing tire-related issues, recommending appropriate solutions, and performing routine inspections to prevent future problems. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to the overall operational success of the service center and the safety of the driving public.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy tires and work in various physical positions for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a tire technician or in a related automotive service role.
• Certification from a recognized tire or automotive service organization.
• Knowledge of tire balancing and alignment systems.
• Experience working with a variety of tire brands and vehicle types.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation to ensure safety and performance.
• Mount, dismount, balance, and align tires using specialized equipment and tools.
• Perform tire repairs such as patching punctures and replacing valve stems.
• Assist customers by providing expert advice on tire selection, maintenance, and care.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Document services performed and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Stay updated on the latest tire technologies and industry best practices.
