Position Summaries:
Field Data Tech: The field data tech is responsible for collecting data on all power poles within a project. This will include measuring all attachments on the pole along with midspans, as well as noting what equipment is on the pole.
Responsibilities:
Measuring and recording pole heights, and all attachment heights including midspans.
Identifying all equipment on pole.
Documenting field conditions using standardized forms and GPS mapping tools.
Ensure all collected data meets company and quality control standards.
Collaborate with design team to ensure accuracy of all field data for design purposes.
Maintaining safety compliance in accordance with company and industry policies.
Must be able to work outdoors in the elements and all seasons.
Requirements:
· Must pass a drug test.
· Must pass a background check.
· Must have valid driver's license
· Must be willing to travel when performing fieldwork
· High School diploma / GED
· Preferred 1-3 years of experience in power distribution or electrical engineering degree but not required.
