Overview
TeleWorld Solutions is Seeking a Field Technician II to join our team. The Field Technician II is a mid-level hands-on role that keeps Viaero’s new 4G/5G and microwave sites on the air. You’ll install, commission, and maintain radios, antennas, power systems, fiber/microwave backhaul, and associated civil infrastructure. Working under a Field Operations Manager, you’ll also mentor Level I techs, ensure strict safety compliance, and provide rapid‐response troubleshooting across multiple rural markets.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-level support to multi-functional team of R&D, Program Management, Core Networking, RF Engineering, Transport and Technical/Training Support to fulfill multi-technology wireless network deployment across customer markets
- On-Site Field Support, technical work, installations, testing, and troubleshooting
- Install, Integrate, and commission Samsung equipment to Samsung standards
- Install, Commission, and integrate Cisco CSR routers to manufacturer's and Samsung specifications
- Support troubleshooting of all T-1, ATM backbone, microwave backhaul transmission methodology
- Support RMA process tracking and documentation for MMBS equipment
- Peer training and direction
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree; 2-5 years work experience in the wireless industry
- Knowledge of CDMA/EVDO and LTE/Volte technologies a plus
- Must have a strong work ethic, integrity, and work extremely well in a team environment
- Aptitude for creativity and innovation
- Working knowledge of Base Station Vendor equipment (Samsung, Alcatel Lucent, Ericsson)
- Proficient in MS Office package
- Flexible during times of change
- Strong trouble-shooting skills and problem resolution skills
- Strong written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
