The digital sales team is front and center at the intersection of digital growth and technology. More importantly we are learning and growing every day and doing so while having fun. This is a talented team of digital natives who are ecstatic about all the new platforms to sell across - we get to work in streaming video, CTV, digital, social, and experiential and span across traditional and merging brands and industries.

This position plays a key role in driving the company’s premium video and digital revenue streams by serving as a catalyst for growth and new business acquisition and working closely across all national divisions.

About You

The role will be dedicated to growing digital advertising revenue through individual contribution as well as sales development and partnership. This role works closely with a dispersed group of sales executives, sales managers and team leaders on identifying and developing strong revenue opportunities, account development, managing strategic initiatives and onboarding new accounts.

Your Day To Day

  • Prepare and present accurate and comprehensive sales pitches/presentations and establish close business relationships with all levels of clients.
  • Understand customer needs and develop solutions to those needs.
  • Manage agency & client relationships through day-to-day contact.
  • Own, manage and develop relationships with clients, agencies, and advertisers.
  • Look for opportunities to develop monetization solutions for clients, and ensure clients receive superior customer service.
  • Actively participate in Network Sales Office projects and sales events.
  • Develop accounts from existing linear business to digital and branded content.
  • Work closely and collegially with Network AEs, Marketing, Insights, and Business Development teams.
  • Selling of Digital, Branded Content and Social advertising.
  • Schedule and execute meetings/presentations with buyers, planners, and clients.
  • Understand customer needs and provide feedback and market input that will strengthen our opportunities and value proposition.
  • Develop strong relationships throughout Univision to ensure a unified and coordinated strategy is presented in the market.

You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of work experience in multimedia and digital sales or other areas of media sales.
  • 2 years of management experience
  • Expertise in digital sales processes, digital platforms, technical markets, pricing models, measurement platforms, technology trends, customer buying patterns and budgeting across all digital asset and platform types, including but not limited to display, video, audio, social, branded content, email and programmatic transactions.
  • Strength in prospecting, generating proposals and closing the sale.
  • Must be self-motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Internet & Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Strong sales and business development expertise, with a solid understanding of sales disciplines, strategic sales, consultative selling as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Passion for digital advertising and content development as well as the unique ability to work and sell in a fast-paced, changing environment where ad products are often sold as technology is emerging.
  • Keen understanding of branded content sales monetization, creative, and execution process.
  • Ability to implement, sell, and execute digital & multi-platform campaigns
  • Exceptional writing, communication, negotiation & presentation skills are critical.
  • Strong leadership and organization skills; detailed-oriented; trust-worthy with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Capacity to work and analyze numeric data.
  • Ability to understand brand & marketing objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully operate within a large organization, effectively communicating with executives, interdepartmental teams and external clients.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Must be willing to work from on of our offices
  • Ability to travel nationwide to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars and industry events.

SALARY RANGE

  • 150,000-210,000 Bonus Benefits. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
