Job Purpose
Oversee and deliver on the implementation and training programs for clients, including employees and
IT staff. Conduct training needs assessments, design and deliver tailored curricula and learning
materials, and oversee all phases of training initiatives. Additionally, support the onboarding and
system setup of new clients on the NIMBIS platform.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement
Actively engage with key stakeholders across the business to ensure the alignment and relevance of learning programmes and facilitator knowledge. Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
Business Requirements Identification
Regularly engage with business to ensure that expectations are understood, managed and met. Understand the key business requirements and objectives linked to all training interventions.
Learning and Development Program Design
Design and develop learning programs and materials to meet individual and organisational learning needs within specified timescales and resources; identify and incorporate appropriate learning methodologies and delivery channels; develop relevant content and high-quality learning resources to create high levels of learner engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
Learning and Development Program Delivery
Deliver complex training programmes, engaging, advising, and guiding learners and evaluating the achievement of intended learning outcomes. Be aware of others' reactions and understanding as to why they react as they do. Assess and adapt the learning method to suit the learners needs and ability to understand the content while still ensuring the integrity of the learning and programmes key outcomes. Provide feedback based on participant’s activity, ability to learn and understand the theory and ability to apply the learning in a workplace environment. Responsible for the end-to-end leadership development programme. Delivery includes needs analysis, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating both content and user experience. Facilitate leadership development initiatives, inclusive of behavioural and theoretical aspects of leadership.
Organisational Capability Building
Use the organisation's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions, including continuing professional development specified by professional or regulatory institutions, to build their professional capabilities. Provide informal training or coaching to others throughout the organisation in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
Training Reporting
Support with the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates. Prepare and coordinate the completion of various training data and analytics reports, identifying and interpreting trends, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations.
Improvement / Innovation
Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of the training program and provide recommendations for improvement. Ensure that training material/content is always up to date and in line with business needs. Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs Staying up to date with new training interventions and methodology.
Costing
Calculate and report on training costs.
Personal Capability Building
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Quality Testing Design
Assist with the testing of new features, as and when required, to ensure the development was completed as requested.
Education
Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential); A degree/diploma in Human Sciences, Human Resource Development or Educational Management Science (Essential); Education and Training Development Practices (ETDP) (Essential); ODETDP (Advantageous)
Experience
5-8 years' experience within the Learning and Development field with at least 4 years in a facilitator role (Essential); Experience in facilitation of leadership development programmes (Advantageous).
