What you’ll do
- Make high-volume outbound calls to residential consumers in eligible deregulated markets.
- Qualify quickly: confirm utility, service address, current rate/plan, and eligibility.
- Explain program benefits in clear, simple terms and handle common objections.
- Conduct a fast bill review to estimate savings and verify switching requirements.
- Close in one call: complete enrollment, capture authorizations, and set expectations for the switch.
- Follow all compliance scripts and disclosures; document every step accurately.
- Maintain clean records in the CRM (call outcomes, notes, recordings, enrollments).
- Hit daily call, talk-time, conversion, and quality targets.
What you bring
- Comfort talking to consumers and asking for the sale on the first call.
- Clear, confident phone presence and excellent English; concise writing for notes.
- Coachable, resilient, and calm under pressure; you like a fast pace and clear goals.
- Basic computer/CRM skills and the ability to follow scripts without sounding scripted.
Nice to have (not required):
- Experience in B2C telesales, energy, telecom, home services, or similar.
- Knowledge of deregulated energy markets and utility bill basics.
- Bilingual English/Spanish with professional fluency in both verbal and written communication.
Training & support
- Paid training on deregulated energy fundamentals, offer positioning, compliance, and one-call close techniques.
- Ongoing call coaching, live shadowing, and script refinements.
