TeleSolv Consulting has a great opportunity for you to work with the Federal Government as a Senior Data Scientist. This position is an on-site position in Washington, DC/Ashburn, VA.
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for supporting the tasks below:
- The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst shall be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and compiling data needed to identify trends and patterns, and then make recommendations for business actions, efficiencies, and transformation.
- Develop Business Intelligence tools using platforms such as COGNOS, QlIK, or other business intelligence platforms.
- Assist in the development of Business Intelligence Products.
- The Contractor shall develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- The Contractor shall assist in designing, developing, and maintaining existing business intelligence solutions. Utilizing a business intelligence tool to develop and create visualizations and reports upon request for data.
- The Contractor shall translate business needs to reporting specifications. Ensure data is available to OPR leadership using BI dashboards and listing reports that organize and present information in a consistent manner that facilitates transparency, identifies trends and patterns, and identifies the entire life cycle of the investigative process.
- The Contractor shall develop accurate data reporting using business intelligence tools and analytics methodologies.
- The contractor shall create and maintain reporting needs within the JXAnalyze (Power BI) application.

- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have familiarity using Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and at least seven (7) years specialized experience; or nine (9) years general experience. General experience is experience gained in an office setting. Specialized experience must include at least three (3) years in data management and analysis experience and two (2) years of specialized experience in process engineering or supporting complex business functions or activities and providing challenging and professional deliverables, products, and services.

Background Investigation:
This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
