Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team as a Middle School Math. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction in mathematics while also offering an elective course aligned with their strengths and interests. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver daily math and science lessons aligned with state standards for middle school.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance.
- Create a positive, safe, and respectful classroom culture that encourages active learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and classroom expectations.
- Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and collaborative team meetings.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into instruction where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of middle school math and science curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Ability to teach and develop an engaging elective course.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration.
- Possession of or ability to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with project-based learning or cross-curricular instruction.
