About the Role
Our employer is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial operations. This role requires strong full-cycle accounting experience and management of an offshore support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting
- Process company payroll (weekly) - Process and manage payroll using ADP, ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare P&L statements and financial reports
- Maintain the general ledger
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Supervise and coordinate 3 offshore accounting staff
- Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date
- Support management with financial reporting
Requirements
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong experience with payroll, bank reconciliations, and P&L reporting
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience supervising staff is an asset
