What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Teleqo Technical Solutions?
Job Summary
Looking for two people for infield data collections with lidar mapping equipment across the country. Short term notice field deployments depending on project urgency. During collections one person will be driving the collection vehicle and one will be operating the collection equipment via laptop.
Between collection projects employees will be expected to work on data extraction using our in house extraction software when necessary.
Collection project lengths can vary and change this may require the employee to be on the road for weeks at a time
Responsibilities
- Driving from Verona, WI (Collection vehicle location) to collection sites across the country
- System set up and operation in the field (Training will be provided)
- Data processing when not performing in-field collection. This can be done at home on a web browser (Training on software will be provided)
Qualifications
- 2-4 Year college degree, preference in tech related or GIS degrees
- Driver's license and clean driving record
- PC gaming experience tends to help with performance on data processing software
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
