We are seeking a reliable and skilled **Field and Service Mechanic** to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, vehicles, and tools both in the shop and at various field locations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently or with a team in fast-paced environments.

- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on company equipment and vehicles (e.g., generators, lifts, compressors, service trucks, etc.)
- Travel to job sites to perform emergency or scheduled field repairs
- Inspect equipment and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Document services performed and parts used for accurate maintenance records
- Assist with routine inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and service truck
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and project managers regarding service timelines and issues
- Follow company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Identify and report equipment requiring replacement or larger-scale repair
- High school diploma or GED required; trade certification preferred
- 2 years of mechanical experience (field service or equipment repair preferred)
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
