Overview
Join our small but mighty manufacturing team as a Soldering Assembler, where you will play a key role in creating high-quality telecommunication products. This position offers an opportunity to develop your technical skills and contribute to the production of telephone handsets used by the airports, buses, fire stations, mines, movie sets, and railroads all over the world. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented person who thrives in a productive environment and has an interest in precision craftsmanship and solving our customers needs.

Duties

  • Perform soldering on telecommunication switches and handsets.
  • Assemble electronic components according to schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other mechanical devices to accurately position and secure components.
  • Verify electrical wiring and connections with ohmmeters and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Read and interpret schematics, assembly instructions, and manufacturing documentation to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct visual inspections of solder joints and assemblies to meet IPC 610 standards for quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to soldering, wiring, or mechanical assembly during production.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of assembly processes;
  • Experience with soldering techniques, including hand soldering and reflow methods;
  • Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters;
  • Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing instructions accurately;
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools. Experience using engraving machines is desired;
  • An understanding of electrical wiring principles desired;

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
